| Aimed at the programming-novice who wants to be able to automate simple tasks in Inventor.
The course comprises 2 main sections:
- 1.5 days Introduction to VBA
- Variable types & declarations
- Sub-routine and function usage
- Decision Making: If-Then-Else
- Select Case
- Iterating: Do-Loop, For-Next
- Error Handling

- 1.5 days VBA for Inventor
- Extract BOM from and Assembly into Excel
- Properties: Getting and setting Part/Assembly/Drawing Properties (both standard and Custom)
- Parameters- Updating models parameters to change model size
- Printing- Use Inventors Apprentice server to print without opening Inventor
