iConstruct is business information modeling (BIM) software for Autodesk Navisworks, suitable for a large range of industries worldwide. It ensures a project is as efficient and simple as possible for teams to manage and maintain from concept to completion and beyond.
iConstructs powerful and advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technology is constantly evolving to deliver safety, environmental, cost and scheduling benefits. Utilizing the collaboration and review technology of Autodesk Navisworks, iConstruct allows users to configure and manage a range of information from various models (plus additional data) into a manageable, multi-user format.
Improve the eciency of a projects clash results with this easy-to-use tool, which works well with Navisworks Clash Detective to quickly isolate clashes in particular sections of a model by clash status and/or level. Clashes can also be sorted by clash count, so objects with the highest clash counts can be investigated first.
There are various tools in iConstruct which enhance the creation of a federated model.
BIMFlow is a very powerful feature in iConstruct which automates the workflow for the creation of a federated model.
iConstruct has two ways to create compelling visuals from your 3D model and data set.
iConstruct provides a number of tools to export Navisworks BIM models to IFC4, IFC2x3, DWFx and DWG file formats. The conversion of BIM models to these file formats has never been easier, and iConstruct has continued to improve the exporters to work seamlessly over the years.
iConstruct BIM software is an advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) solution that utilizes the collaboration and review technology provided by Autodesk Navisworks.
iConstruct enables the vast array of information stored in the latest generation of BIM models to be extracted, organized and used in an efficient and logical way. It allows project teams and consultants to manage design and construction information to suit various segments of the industry, from design engineers to construction managers, and integrate this intelligence into a single 3D model displayed in Navisworks.
By running on Navisworks, iConstruct interacts with the large majority of design software currently in use and has the ability to read a large number of different CAD formats. This enables its use by second and third parties, without the need to purchase expensive design software, while gaining access to the information stored within the design.

Student and Educational licensing is available to help students build valuable workplace skills and to prepare them for rewarding careers in architecture, engineering, and the digital arts.
Students and faculty can download free* Autodesk software for personal educational purposes. Student licenses incorporate all the software functionality of our professional licenses, but include a print banner or watermark on output indicating the design was created using a student license version. Autodesk student licenses are available as Stand-Alone only and may not be used in the classroom or lab for instructional purposes, or for commercial or for-profit purposes.
For more information, visit our Education Community.
Educational institutions, students and faculty can receive affordable pricing on a variety of Educational licensing options. Autodesk® Education Suites can be purchased as Stand-Alone, Multi-seat Stand-Alone or Network licenses and give academic institutions access to comprehensive software products and tools. Educational licenses cannot be used for commercial, professional or for-profit purposes.
For more information, visit our Educators page.
*Free Autodesk software is for personal use for education purposes and is subject to the terms and conditions of the end-user license agreement that accompanies download of the software.
Multi-user access is a good choice for companies with multiple teams that need access to the same software deployed through network licenses.
Network licenses aren’t assigned to individual users and can be shared. A subscription with multi-user access supports the use of Autodesk products up to a maximum number of users, or seats, connected to a server network.
The products can be installed on as many computers as you want. However, you can use the software simultaneously only on the number of purchased seats. For example, if you have 6 subscriptions seats and 8 users, all users have access, but only 6 can use the product at any one time. Because you can install the products on more systems than the number of subscription seats purchased, you get true floating licenses across your entire organisation. There is no internet connection required for Multi-user licenses to operate.
Single-user access is a good choice for organisations that need one or more stand-alone licenses.
These licenses are assigned to individual users and can’t be shared. Customers must connect to the internet every 30 days to validate their Autodesk ID.
These subscriptions cost less than subscriptions with multi-user access. You can sign in to your Autodesk Account from anywhere, and download and install the software assigned to you from any device. So, for example, you can use your Autodesk product on your work computer and also on your personal computer at home.
